Hi-Temp Greases
RED 1100 HIGH TEMPERATURE GREASE
Product Description
Red 1100 High Temperature Grease
has been specially formulated from the highest quality
paraffinic base oils and inorganic base substances to
withstand extreme pressures and temperatures, yet maintain
good shear stability and long life.
RED 1100 High Temperature Grease
is waterproof, washout resistant, resistant to acids,
weather, salt spray, steam, oxidation, and dirt. RED
1100 High Temperature Grease is one of the few
greases able to withstand heavy shock loads and impact
pressures of 65' Timken Load Capabilities.
Advantages
- Lasts longer than conventional greases under high pressure
- Reduces lubrication cost by extending PM periods.
- Eliminates mechanical failure due to inadequate lubrication,
resulting in unnecessary costs such as parts, labor, and lost production.
Applications
RED 1100 High Temperature Grease
is used in hot areas where conventional greases run,
cake, and melt. RED 1100 High Temperature
Grease use in the steel industry has become legendary
because of a patented combination of natural base stocks
and synthetic additives. RED 1100
High Temperature Grease has a clinging tacky
substance which adheres to metal surfaces. When extreme
operative conditions such as high temperature and heavy
loads would cause conventional greases to fail, RED
1100 High Temperature Grease will provide adequate
lubrication.

ULTRA HIGH TEMP SYNTHETIC BLEND GREASE
Product Description
Ultra High Temp Synthetic Blend
Grease is a metallic, silver combination of an
olefinic coplymer anti-seize compound and a non-soap
bentone grease. It is fortified with molybdenum disulfide
(in sub-micron), aluminum, and additives that will provide
excellent lubricating properties, stability and anti-wear
protection to metal surfaces. Ultra
High Temp has a low gumming base. It has no dropping
point so that it will not run out when heated. It sticks
to the metal and lets the thin film of molybdenum disulfide,
and aluminum act as the lubricant at elevated temperatures.
Advantages
- No Dropping Point - Will Not Run Out When Heated.
- Low Gumming Base / Plates Out Preventing Surface Scuffing.
- Reduces Lubrication Costs.
- Extends the Life of Equipment and Parts.
Performance Characteristics
Ultra High Temp has a low
gumming base. It has no dropping point so that it will
not run out when heated. It sticks to the metal and
lets the thin film of molybdenum disulfide, and aluminum
act as the lubricant at elevated temperatures. Ultra
High Temp is a high temperature antifriction
bearing lubricant that functions in high-speed use up
to 450°F, slow speed use up to 750°F. From 750°
through 1100° it functions as dry film lubricant
for heavy load and slow speed use - such as in slides
or slow resolution equipment, with the molybdenum actually
plating out to prevent metal to metal contact and surface
scuffing.
